1. Click the Reports menu selection on your Home page to display the report modules, and select "Custom queries":

2. Start a new query, name it (for example, Callbacks for Today) and click [Save query]. Ignore messages.

3. Click the [Define] tab and add the Contacts table as the Primary table and Actions as Table two.

4. Select these fields (and any others you might want) in the tables by double-clicking the field name to select it:

Contacts:

Company
ContactID
Email
Email2
Email3
FirstName
LastName

Actions:

ActionID
ActionType
LinkID
RecordType
StartDate

5. Join the tables: 

a. In Contacts, select the ContactID field and in Actions, select the LinkID field:

b. Ensure the ContactID field is selected in Contacts like the above in Primary table, then click on the [Link] button under the Contacts table. This will display:

c. Follow the instructions in the message by selecting LinkID field in Table 2 (Actions), then click the [Link] button under the Actions table. This will insert the link information as shown below in the Actions table:

6. Click the [Criteria] tab and save the query by clicking [Save query] at the bottom.

7. Select Actions.StartDate in the first drop down under "Field name":

8. Select "=" under "Filter criteria"

9. Use the ellipse button [...] to bring up the date popup and select the date you want to restrict the callback list to. Note: clicking 'Today' is a good choice if you want to get today's callbacks:

10. [Optional] Select the display order from one or more of the dropdown lists at the bottom:

11. Click the [Build] tab and click [Build SQL]. Click [Save query].

12. Click the [Run] tab, select "[ ]As bulk email or campaign", then click Display records. If you get an error message about missing fields, go back to Step 4 above and add the fields.

13. If you get some records in the list, click [Begin bulk email/campaign] to open and run Campaign Central.

14. If you want, you can add the query to your Home page Favorites:

Bulk emailing:

Now that you have the query ready to go, you can use it in a Bulk Email. 

1. From your Home Page, check to see if you have any callbacks due today. 

2. If so, under "My Favorite Reports", select the Query (in this case, "Callbacks for Today"). The query will open at the [Run] tab.

3. Click the [Criteria] tab and change the criteria to select Today (see 9. above) then [Run] > [Display records].

4. If you have any callbacks for today, they will display:

6. Read and close the message, then click the Bulk email: option:
